![]() Garden of the Gods Photography Workshop October 1, 2 & 3, 2010 Instructors: Andy Cook & Bruce du Fresne
This
workshop is geared for those who are
just discovering the world of photography or who wonder what it's all
about. It is ideal for those who are new to photography and have taken
our Digital SLR Class or for those who have some understanding of
the basics of photography and how to work their camera. We will be
teaching Exposure, Metering
and Composition in a classroom setting and then spend time in the
field. On Saturday afternoon we will demonstrate some Photoshop
techniques and process a few images. The workshop will emphasize
digital photography but it is also
pertinent to film shooters. The information will be covered in simple,
easy to understand language without getting bogged down in hard to
understand (dry) technical detail. You will get a handout covering
class material. If you have been taking photographs please consider
bringing what you think is your best work for critiquing
purposes. It will help us identify how to help you improve.
